Yep, a real crazy question for you all, a simple thought I like to share, what if film makers got together with game makers and made crossovers between film movies and video games, what are your actual thoughts for a crossover between a film movie and a video game (example, Avatar/Doom Crossover).

i thought you meant video game films, which already exist and usually suck

but you mean combining multiple movies to games?

i think it would still suck, i mean, stories' integrity would be compromised

Avatar/Doom? whats next?

Sweeny Todd/Warcraft?

Pulp Fiction/Dragon Age?

when will the monstrosities end?!?!

You really just described a video game. Many of them are like interactive movies, where you take on the role of the lead character. Games these days are driven by powerful story lines, much like films.

I think the crossover between films and games have been around for a good while now.

Modern video games are 90% cut-scenes anyway. Wouldn't be much different.

It depends on whether or not you plan on making a game or a film out of it. I would recommend something like Naruto and Super Mario Bros. Of course, you could always go over to MUGEN where you can make that stuff into games the whole time. Then again, you can't do much with cut scenes there, so whatever.

I thought you were gonna say games that had movie concepts in them which is already done with the 90 minute cut scenes in MGS4 and the great cut scenes in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

But mixes would be awful. The story lines would just crash into each other rather than making each other better.
