A reintroduction to Flash

Hello.
I used to be a Newgrounds member many years ago. I used to work in Flash 5, creating little animations (nothing great) I used it just for fun.

I am interested in learning how to work in flash again.

Has the flash evolution changed dramatically since Flash 5 and which Flash is primarily used for animations, short cartoons etc?

I think we're up to about Flash Player 10 and there have indeed been many advancements in the flash making business. May I congradulate you on your first post, if nothing else. In the future, you should know that things like these go into the "How To?" forums and not the "General" ones. Anyway, welcome back!

Thank you Ericho. I will remember that for the future, hopefuly some mods will be able to move it along.
I'm excited about creating some new Cartoons. If anybody has any further advice with regards to which flash I should be using then that would be brilliant.

I've been watching some cartoon on NG and I'm amazed how amazing people are doing.

Anyways, Flash is no longer owned by Macromedia, and we're on our tenth version.
