flash 8 vs flash cs4

What do you guys prefer, flash 8 or flash cs4? I'm trying to decide which one to buy. I have a big discount on cs4 which makes it equal in price to a copy of flash 8 my friend is selling me.
(I have almost no experience in either of them.

Why are you saying 8 an cs4 and completly missing out on CS3 ?

CS3 is prbably the best all round as is better for collabs because CS4 people can save down to you and you can save down to flash 8, plus it crashes less , go for CS3

Can't get cs3, it's not being sold in stores anymore and my friend only has flash 8

CS3 really is the best just because of the user interface compared to CS4

id go for CS4, purly because of AS3 for programers, and the bone tool/3d rotation for animators. Just need to save more i guess

I can't speak about the Bone tool and 3D rotation, but CS3 has AS3 as well. :D

If Flash 8 and Cs4 are really offered at the same price for you. You should go with CS4.

Due to the valuable option of AS3 and the high compatibility with lower verisons.

i dont animate, and i use CS3, but hes saying either 8 or cs4, in which case cs4 goes. I picked cs3 over cs4

Cs 4 As 3 simply is worth it. And I have never had cs 4 crash on me. But then again, I don't animate in flash.
