Hello everyone I've always loved writing stories so here is my personal thread. This is a story I just wrote up based on a previous story I started. Should I continue this?
--Unknown title--
--Chapter 1--
The cold harsh air bit at his exposed face as he took one last look at his surroundings, bitter winds and planes of snow took up most of his vision, behind him was the supply tent and behind that was the drop-ship, slowly ascending up in the air. Something smacked him in the back of his head as he stumbled to the ground "Never take your helmet of when were in mutant territory, I don't want to be putting a round in your head if you catch their symptoms" The voice was coming from behind the soldier, squad leader Arthur Smith or affectionately nicknamed "Grim". "Yes sir, sorry sir!" The soldier said while getting to his feet, he then put on his helmet listening to the familiar sliding sound as the triangle shaped orange crystal visor slid over his face and the helmet adjusted itself connecting to the rest of the suits circuitry and bio seals. Then the soldier listened for the sickly electrifying feel as the wires containing spine in the back of the suit connected itself to his neck. "Alright listen up ROOKIE, because I'm only going to say this once! We got a pack of FC-180's making their way to who knows!" Grim growled to the soldier "Sorry sir but my name is Allen Lockson" The soldier silently retorted. "Alright Allen I'd like you to the rest of our team" Grim spoke pointed his hand out as two other people stepped out of the supply tent "This worthless sac of know-it-al is Willis our team tech specialist and subdues the captives" He pointed to a figure with bright neon green paint running across shoulders and back. "And this is Dent our team vehicle and reconnaissance specialist" He pointed to a figure with no special paint on their armor but large poc marks throughout their armor. "What do you do Grim?" Allen questioned "Infiltration and up front combat" Grim replied.

You should continue a story if you feel that you can turn it into something. Do you have that urge to write? Do you see this going somewhere? -- IF so then go for it...if anything it is practice.
Keep that chin up!
cheers
Failure should push you until success can pull you.

Thanks that was free writing I pretty much came up with that one on the spot. I've been forming this idea for a rpg but I really don't think I can make it into a flash based one so I'm debating weather or not to start writing a story on that or to have it as a possible future project.

Consider making an outline and planing this out. If you see it forming into something worth caring about then go for it. If not...keep it on the back burner!
