Linking to posts...

Before, I've seen people put up links here that bring you directly to a post in a thread, as opposed to just linking you to the thread. For instance, it'll be a link specifically for post number 25 of a thread, or whatever. Does anyone know how to find that url?

It's a bit of html magic, I made a tool for it ages ago: http://m00d.net/link/ the posts you've seen are probably from that, unless they manually played with the html.

I can see what your getting at, but I don't think you'd be able to link to a specific post in a certain topic over linking to a post out of all of them.

Like right now, since I'm quoting you, I can see you've got post number 20699829. I know it's got something to do with the pound (#) key as well, since I've seen it before, too.
