Well all I know so far is that Toby McGuire won't be playing Spiderman anymore. No one should take Toby's place. But I can't stop that. But I swear to god if Pattison becomes the new Spiderman, I'm gunna kill myself.

Maybe it's just a rumor, he doesn't fit as Spiderman/Peter Parker because:
1- He doesn't look like a geek at all
2- They're planning to place the remake in the high-school days of Peter Parker, and that Robert guy looks way to old for being in High-school
