COMPLETE edition of the interactive "choose next panel" comic
4.09 / 5.00 12,195 ViewsIt's become somewhat of a yearly tradition, and we're actually running out of shelf space but for the sake of consistency and because the stuff people make is so cool, a new figurine design competition begins. If you've never heard of / participated in any of the past two, take some time to browse through the hub pages and see what people have done in the past.
The 'rules' are fairly simple, and the same as previous years except for the figurine we're using. You can decorate the little blank figurine any way you see fit, add things, take away things..etc. As long as you dont totally deface it to the point it no longer looks like the original base model. (In other words you cant melt it into a puddle of goo and remold it into a shape of your liking. Also be sure to only use the Raffy. There are many other blank figurines but we are concentrating on this four legged one this year.
You have two options, you can buy your own blank Raffy. OR you can 'compete' for a lot of blank ones that we are supplying people with. The advantage of buying your own is that you are welcome to have it sent back if you win or not. If they are the complimentary ones then obviously you'll have to part with it.
To compete for a complimentary one, you can download a template of the figurine and design a proposal of how you would customize it. The most promising designs will get a figurine mailed over to them so that he/she can make that vision into a reality.
If you bought your own then you can just jump right in. :)
======================================
At the end of the project we'll get some awards for the most creative ones and also highlight all the ones that participated. It's a fun project and a good break from your wacom/mouse / computer.

Heres some deadlines to be on the lookout for:

It's okay baby, they can draw on your MSpaint sketch of it if drawing on the actually Raffi is too difficult to understand.
Raffi?
Shut your gaping pie hole, you know it had to be done. Shut up.

Yea i'll plug this project heavily next week probably and also begin releasing some the raffy's. I've been a bit busy so i let this thread just quietly simmer in the art forum stew.

So if I buy my own one I don't need to go for this proposal stuff? I can just work on my own and then submit it for March 16th?

The body needs to be more interesting.

Yes you can ignore everything up until march 16th deadline if you are buying your own. Just pm me when you finish if you need the address of the ng office to mail to.

Right... after much thought and scribbles... i have come up with this!
its mindchamber all scrunched up in a ball... of course i will need to add a bit of moddling for the smoke out the back *so it blends in with the body* and might raise the head out with some moddling as well... as for the rest i want to keep the model as intact as i can so i dont complete remodel... hopefully this is going to stand out from the rest...
and trust me... i can pull this off :D

Thats very ambitious, id gather youd also need mold the head a bit so it can sit properly on a surface.
