Actually, Bullet Bills have always had arms, but it wasn't really as noticeable on the older games.

By now, some of you may have figured that I'm aiming to color every single linework in this thread, and so I am!

FOR THE WIN!

http://altrian.newgrounds.com/ linework + two lightsources = hard to color!

I think it turned out okay tough ...

I fully agree, but these are more like a practise. Spending too much time on a preactice may ruin the practice itself. And I will try to put some real effort into them

But then again, you're totally right, quality over quantity!

Looks pretty good! If I may, I'd suggest bumping your contrast up a little bit when you're shading things so that they look a little more rounded. Basically, just brighter highlights and darker shadows - right now everything in your drawing has more or less the same tonal value, so it flattens things out and makes it harder to read shapes.

:I fully agree, but these are more like a practise. Spending too much time on a preactice may ruin the practice itself. And I will try to put some real effort into them

And I completely disagree that spending too much time on practice is a bad thing. You should spend extra time on things while you're learning them - if you rush through them because they're "practice", you'll never learn the final steps and your pieces will look incomplete. Take your time and pay attention to what you're doing and you'll naturally get faster at it.

Id suggest darkening out the background... basically everything other than solid white would be good. maybe a slight gradient...
such simple things can make your drawing a lot better.

Okay, I'll try to add more contrast to it! Thanks for letting me know!

I guess you're right, altough I never really "rushed" the colorings in this thread

But i take it that wasn't your point

Dirty in what way? Too dark? Orange too brownish in spots? :o Too many manly, rippling muscles?

Oh really?

Actually, that would make me feel better. I feel so mediocre knowing that nobody has even commented on why my lineart is so uninteresting.

I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.
