English report on life: Dreams 2010-01-28 04:43:05 Reply

I woke up to a normal saturday morning. I came down from my room to the usual koko krunch cereal on my bowl and a milk carton next to it. there was a pile of money at the right and , as usual , a note on the table:

"I'll be late tonight"

yeah, as usual. It's been like this every saturday since I turn 14 my mom would leave me a bowl of cereal and then leave me some money for lunch and dinner. I ate my cereal sluggishly and grabbed the pile of money then headed back into my room and tried to finish my algebra homework for the weekend.
The black ink began to grow light until it wouldn't let out any ink anymore. I scratched the back of my head. I opened my bed side drawer and found the folded piece of paper that I wrote on late night. So it was true. Not just a Dream. A dream, What is a dream? I took out another piece of paper from the drawer and my mongol 2 pencil. I gently pressed the pencil to the surface of the very plain, very boring, piece of paper:

" Dreams
What is a dream? Is it just a simple wish that we work hard to achieve? I'm not sure but I bet by the end of this essay I'd know. Dreams are something that keeps us trying and not giving up on our pointless little lives. Dreams are what makes living in this boring world bearable. Wishing, dreaming, It's all very much the same. Wishing for those zoo york shoes and dreaming to impress the popular kids and get that cute guy to notice me. Wishing that I'll get an 'A' on the next bio exam and dreaming that I'd end up as an honor student this semester. It's a goal that we make in our lives and in setting that goal we work. No, we don't get to those goals bu just simply wishing on some falling star that would've probably crashed into some poor cow in the field. The greater your dream the greater the work your need. Like that law of motion thingy the greater the mass the more force is needed to move it.
Dreams are truly one of the reasons we try and try in life. No matter how feeble our attempt is to get that video console we still have a motivation to keep going and never give up. The time comes when we drop everything just because it's so hard or unattainable but we have to stand up and keep moving forward (yah I know meet the Robinsons). And who knows you might just find the fun in the process of getting the reward rather than getting the reward."

I dropped the pencil and folded the paper. " no one can find out" I whispered to myself. I took my music box from my "reward shelf". It was sealed with a lock... the key..! I opened the my box of stuff: sponge bob squeeze toy, 'I love you' pillow, Kuki Sanban and Wallabie Beatles plushies, my album from last year. No key! " Oh man! " I whined. Just as I was looking through my closet ( such a mess!) the bell from my bracelet rang, maybe it's been ringing since I started the search. I looked at it. I had lots of charms, heart, flower, and guess what.... a key! I fit the key into the music box lock "click" if opened! the music was soothing, I was peaceful like something hit me and pinned me to an ever lasting trance of clouds and angels. I grabbed hold of consciousness and put the two pieces of folded paper inside then instantly locked the box once more. " No one can know". I grabbed the phone and began to dial come numbers "click, click, click, click, click, click, click" it sounded. " Hey Jane want to eat out later at lunch?"
