Assuming you use flash, file>export>exportmovie>animated gif>profit
Well here's my run cycle , its just a quick one. I've also got a coloured walk cycle . By the way the red thing where the heads supposed to be is a blood cell, don't ask.

OK i dont think you understand how a run goes , not your fault , the two legs dont just swing at each other they cycle around , have a look at mine (very bottom of page 1) since i think its the slowest here , if you want an Fla then ask :)
Im really ahppy seeing you prgresss though , i love the back rotating :)

I really like the bounce and vitality in that one, but the legs need work and should come back farther after each step. Nice job though.

I dunno the end result doesn´t exactly look how I wanted it to be.

Here is mine. as you can see I still need a LOT of improvement

Needs more bounce. You have to think of running as your legs lifting the weight of all your body and launching it into the air and then gravity dragging you back down and your legs having to once again 'catch' all that weight coming down. If you think of running in that sense you can appreciate the role weight distribution has. I always found the front run to be particularly hard... maybe ill try it later.

I got really really bored in my Art History class and made this.

Is that one of Matisse's figures running away?
I love how the facial expressions are so organic. With any other style it probably would look weird

Actually it's a combination of Hirschfeld and Picasso. Some of it's just random though, and I think the face looks weird already! :P

This is just plain awesome.
Hirschfeld was definitely the first thing to come to mind.

Love it Luis, it really drives home the shifting in weight, it looks like he's scrambling away running for his life! :D
It's been great reading through this thread and seeing everyone's work, really inspiring
I hope this is at 24fps, otherwise check the link

I hate doing running and walking cycles.
you should do em till you learn to love it.
Because walk and run cycles are the back bone of animation, and you will come across them in almost everything.
To avoid them or dread me will only hurt your growth and effect your animations.
I do not think anyone one liked them at first, But animation is movement, so it is needed.
I didn't like em to start, now i do em like second nature.
One day so will you
