and before this guy starts trolling the thread let me explain why double framing is pretty much a terrible idea for pivoters and not only lazy. Just a little fyi for anyone looking on hear that wants to learn pivot or hell this is could be a rule for animation in general in some cases not all.
Ok a little fact first. The average pivoter from what I've seen animates at either at a low 15 fps to a ridiculously high 20-25. I myself stay around the 17-19 range.
This said even with those frame rate when you use double framing it cuts it in half. Now even 15 seems a little slow to me, but some people can make it work. But imaging if that 15 ps framer double framed. Then the animation would be running at a slow 7-8 frames per second. Probably the ugliest frame rate frame rate especially for pivot.
Even with the high 25 frames per second, its still running lower than the 15fps, and anything below that in pivot looks like garbage, I've seen it a hundred times.
In terms of me calling these people lazy, look at Mr. Troll as I'll call him now. As I've clearly shown you through the wonders that is flash hes double framed a wapping total of 5 frames. Seriously 5 fucking frames? you coudn't of gotten off your ass to make 5 more frames of inbetweens to create a smooth slow mo scene? Thats officially lazy guys.
Most pivoters who double frame only do it for a few frames, and it makes no sense as to why. I've already explained why it makes animations ugly and yet no one seems to understand to make a decent slow mo scene.
Quick example mine of at least one proper way to do slow mo. No double framing just more inbetweens, see how simple that is?
