I know it's a bit hypocritical of me to say since I'm part of the fad, but it's interesting how this Camp North type 'indie' artwork which was unique has become bland and cliche because so many people draw like this. Like, your work is exactly the same as Austin's, Spencer's etc.
You're a talented guy, and I'm not saying your art is shit, but it's just an observation.
yeah, ive noticed this also. Not to sound like the typical indie artist, but i have drawn like this for a very long time. Before the whole indie thing took off.
I really hate my art looking like some huge fab, Ive tried multiple times to make some difference to where it looks the part from the indie generation. Its just the way i draw, its pretty depressing to be honest. I dont like the idea of my art being labeled in mainstream, im trying to find something that is much more different than indie artist's.
Not saying "i was the original indie artist" but its just unfair that my art can be labeled under a tab now.
seriosly, its like somebody came by and took my unique side . As did everybody else.
