I may not be a big Eminem fan, but I am a person who has a great appreciation for talent. Hell to the fuck no, the only thing original about him is his voice and his random "I stapled my English teachers balls to a stack of paper" lyrics, everything else has been done and has been continued to be done, I can probably name a couple many artists which are better or at the same level, for example: Bun B. Thats not even to mention the fastest rappers in the world, Twista and No Clue.

Lil' Wayne is somewhat better when he doesn't use that voice synthesizer thing that makes his voice weird.

No, Canas is right. Eminem become one of the most recognizable and original artists around. Fast rapping is just a skill and doesn't necessarily make them a talented lyricist, it just means they have a fast mouth. Bun B is good, but he's definitely not one of the best. He's a good gangster rapper, but Eminem can put his experiences into his songs in a way that is unique to his own self.

I beg to differ, his lyrics do continue to be consistently decent, but they are nowhere near as great as they used to be as back in Infinite. Infinite was brilliant. But in my opinion, the best rapper to ever live? Tupac Shakur, undisputed. Certain rappers can be great in their own ways, but Shakur was great in every way.
