Okay, I'm at the point in my animation where I need to use voices. I was wondering what a good mic would be to buy for good quality. Any suggestions? Anything that I can pick up at Circuit City or Best Buy would be helpful. Anything that has good quality. Make, model, anything that could be useful. Thanks in advance!

I can't really make any suggestions. Mine sucks and makes my voice sound like a girl's. But go to whatever electronics store has mics and stuff, and ask which one is the best, and if they have any cheap alternatives.

The best mics that I have heard of are the headset ones. Those are supposed to produce the best sound, plus the mis is a good distance from your mouth. I just have a little mic with a voice reader. It goes through, but it's pretty choppy. :P

I use a Labtec microphone myself and it's quite brilliant. And if you have a USB port, try a USB based mic, they usually have better sound quality than regular mics which rely on the standard of your soundcard. If you have a really spiffy soundcard though, the audio port version works just as well.
