5. Kingdom Hearts II
I wanna put this on the record that I do not like this game. Kingdom Hearts II is a shameful game compared to the first one. Yes the combat system did get better, a lot of new things were added in (which defitnitely makes it feel like a Square Enix game) the story certainly became a lot more interesting, but they killed the Disney movies pretty much, which pissed me off when you get to The Lion King stage. Hell I was already pissed off at the Mulan stage. Anyways that aside the story building from the Heartless and Nobodies is an interesting one, I mean whose side are you on? The story is amazing and it was the only thing that kept me playing through this game, to get one very awesome game... it was a subtle cliffhanger ending with a lot of suspense, but hey just look at the next entry on my list.
4. Halo 2
Yes, some may consider this to be a bad ending, or at least not a good ending. However I loved it. It was epic and it was also awesome. It just left you in such suspense. That's how you end a game... the only problem is that Halo 3 didn't truly pick up (well not, well at least) from where Halo 2 left off.
3. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
You get one final option. Either take out Nemesis yourself or Ignore it and Run. I say choose to take him out yourself and you get one hell of a final cutscene and then the ending (depending on which one you got) with Barry Burton flying you and Carlos away from the nuke that hits Raccoon City is just amazing. The only problem is Jill's corny cliche line at the end... "That's it... this time they've gone too far"
2. Super Mario R.P.G. The Legend of the Seven Stars & Paper Mario
You know I had a tough time deciding on which one of these to put on them. So I put both of them. I mean the endings on both are kickass, the final goodbyes and such. Showing where some of the characters are nowadays, plus you get to explore parts of the Mushroom Kingdom one more time in Paper Mario and actually celebrate your victory. Truly wonderful. Also the parade at the end of both of them is endearing and awesome... why? Because God Dammit, Luigi leads the parades in both of them.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Wow... I mean wow. This ending actually made me teary eyed the first time I saw it, and when I see it today it still kind of leaves me teary eyed. Zelda talking with Link on how it was all her fault (where have I heard that before) and that she shouldn't have drug Link into it (even though a prophecy foretold it and the sage Rauru knew it was gonna happen anyways and was prepared) and returns him to the time in which he was a child (without the use of the Master Sword). Anyways the music that plays when Link returns to the Temple of Time as a child, Navi leaves and upon Link's exiting of the Temple of Time, those bells. Thus ending with some kind of party in Lon Lon Ranch and Link approaching Zelda in the Royal Courtyard one more time. Majestic, suspenseful, leaves you kind of empty? Yes it does leave suspense just like Halo 2's ending, however this one actually picks up properly in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Plus it's just cooler.
