First of all could you please use proper spelling and grammar.
Second I would advise to the rest of the people who see this thread not to actually post the ending of the game as some people may not have played or finished the game in question

With that out the way for me it's:
#5 Call of Duty 4
#4 Dead Space
#3 Gears of War (On Insane)
#2 Brutal Legend
#1 Bioshock

I love Resident Evil (more than Call of Duty), but dude that's just stupid. Then again you probably like Michael Bay movies as well.

Bioshock and Dead Space are high up there... but video game endings are usually lackluster to me.

My top 5 "lol wut"-est game endings

5. Sonic Adventure; After you've defeated Chaos, Tails says "all's well that ends well" and the city is underwater.
4. Pinobee; the bad ending is him turning into a monster and his grandpa dies. I can't get the good ending because apparently I need to save EVERY person and kill EVERY enemy in each stage.
3. Megaman ZX Advent; You find out Master Albert is a god and you're the Messiah but you don't want to be, so you kill him.
2. The Golden Compass; The movie was bad enough, but the video game version of the ending was like a botched abortion.
1. Drawn to Life 2; Everyone dies in an earthquake, but it's okay, it was all a dream. The entire. Fucking. Game. All a dream.

1. In the Company of Myself- It made me cry! This is the only game to ever do that to me.

2. Conker's Bad Fur Day- Such a sad ending for such a funny game.

3. Castle Crashers- WTF? So random!

4. Super Mario Galaxy- For some reason, that felt epic to me.

5. Luigi's Mansion- Mario finally looks like an idiot in front of Luigi, and Luigi gets to laugh about it.
Finally!

Some of these have been stated before, but who cares?

5. Super Mario Bros. 2 (American Version) (Nintendo, 1988)

This was the one "It was all a dream sequence" that didn't totally suck. Also, the image of Mario sleeping was amazing for the NES.

4. The Legend of Zelda: Occarina of Time (Nintendo, 1998)

Link saves the day, goes back to being a kid, and has Navi leave him. He then gets to live and enjoy the next seven years of his life before he becomes the adult he was in the game. Pretty touching stuff.

3. Earthworm Jim (Playmates Interactive Entertainment, 1994)

You go through all of the crap, just to save the princess and what happens? She falls into some lava. Damn.

2. Pikmin (Nintendo, 2001)

After getting his ship back together, Olimar leaves and the Pikmin learn to start fending for themselves. They soon take over the planet and live happily (Or at least until the second game.)

1. Conker's Bad Fur Day (Nintendo, 2001)

The most depressing ending of all time. Conker becomes king but loses everything he loves and is now surrounded by idiots he doesn't like. It really has to be seen to be appreciated.

Actually, I'm talking about while the heroes and villians are making nice with each other. I got a chuckle out of Eggman talking to Tails about his grandaddy.

IT WASN'T EVEN AN ENDING YOU PATHETIC CUNT. THERE WAS NO RESOLUTION, OR A FUCKING FINAL BOSS. GOD DAMMIT WORLD I'VE FUCKING HAD IT

Calm down man....

Also, I found the HL2: EP 1 ending (while being a cliffhanger), to be an awesome ending.

Maybe I can think of the fith later, but these four hands down

1. Vice City- Upbeat ending when you really feel like not only you've won but you're the damn king of this town.

2. San Andreas- The whole cast gets together and celebrates victory followed by C.J leaving to "Hit the block" really makes you feel like the game never really ends.

3. Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver- This cliffhanger ending was epic in its own right but when it became a fully cg opening of the sequel it became all the more epic.

4. Fallout 3 (Broken Steel)- Only because it wasn't that shitty original ending.

5. Kingdom Hearts II
I wanna put this on the record that I do not like this game. Kingdom Hearts II is a shameful game compared to the first one. Yes the combat system did get better, a lot of new things were added in (which defitnitely makes it feel like a Square Enix game) the story certainly became a lot more interesting, but they killed the Disney movies pretty much, which pissed me off when you get to The Lion King stage. Hell I was already pissed off at the Mulan stage. Anyways that aside the story building from the Heartless and Nobodies is an interesting one, I mean whose side are you on? The story is amazing and it was the only thing that kept me playing through this game, to get one very awesome game... it was a subtle cliffhanger ending with a lot of suspense, but hey just look at the next entry on my list.

4. Halo 2
Yes, some may consider this to be a bad ending, or at least not a good ending. However I loved it. It was epic and it was also awesome. It just left you in such suspense. That's how you end a game... the only problem is that Halo 3 didn't truly pick up (well not, well at least) from where Halo 2 left off.

3. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
You get one final option. Either take out Nemesis yourself or Ignore it and Run. I say choose to take him out yourself and you get one hell of a final cutscene and then the ending (depending on which one you got) with Barry Burton flying you and Carlos away from the nuke that hits Raccoon City is just amazing. The only problem is Jill's corny cliche line at the end... "That's it... this time they've gone too far"

2. Super Mario R.P.G. The Legend of the Seven Stars & Paper Mario
You know I had a tough time deciding on which one of these to put on them. So I put both of them. I mean the endings on both are kickass, the final goodbyes and such. Showing where some of the characters are nowadays, plus you get to explore parts of the Mushroom Kingdom one more time in Paper Mario and actually celebrate your victory. Truly wonderful. Also the parade at the end of both of them is endearing and awesome... why? Because God Dammit, Luigi leads the parades in both of them.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Wow... I mean wow. This ending actually made me teary eyed the first time I saw it, and when I see it today it still kind of leaves me teary eyed. Zelda talking with Link on how it was all her fault (where have I heard that before) and that she shouldn't have drug Link into it (even though a prophecy foretold it and the sage Rauru knew it was gonna happen anyways and was prepared) and returns him to the time in which he was a child (without the use of the Master Sword). Anyways the music that plays when Link returns to the Temple of Time as a child, Navi leaves and upon Link's exiting of the Temple of Time, those bells. Thus ending with some kind of party in Lon Lon Ranch and Link approaching Zelda in the Royal Courtyard one more time. Majestic, suspenseful, leaves you kind of empty? Yes it does leave suspense just like Halo 2's ending, however this one actually picks up properly in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Plus it's just cooler.

1. Modern Warfare 2

My mouth was hanging open since Shepherd caught my knife and slammed my head on the truck. The ending had everything. Us, the player, working to take the bastard down. To at least help Price, but our perserverance pays off. And as our eyes slowly fade, letting ourselves slip into eternal darkness, we come back at the sight of our comrade waking up. Holy shit.
Best, cinematic sequence, ever.

2. Metal Gear Solid 4

It leaves the player with an optimistic feeling about life and where we're going. Mindblowing? Yes. Too much monologue time? Totally, but the execution was phenomenal. Snake trying to take his own life was amazing, especially with the twist that happens after. Showing the voice cast including Big Boss. "But wait, Big Boss wasn't in this game." We all said to ourselves, only to see that it's not over. Big Boss looked exactly like himself in his old age.

Oh, and let's not forget the beautiful fist fight with the bad guy. CQC at its best.

3. Resident Evil 4

Leon takes down 500+ enemies in his mission, escapes Saddler's grasp, takes down his old comrade Krauser who turned evil, gets betrayed by Ada, and escapes the island with the girl. The game was very long and very challenging, and it just felt right watching the ending. The only thing missing, was seeing the merchant escape the island in a jetpack. I just KNOW he has one.

4. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

This one makes the top 5 simply because of the finishing move on Ganon. Link is hacking away at the beast, only for a finishing stab right at the grounded bastard's forehead. Simply awesome.

5. Conker's Bad Fur Day

I recall crying as the credits rolled when I was young. And I still get choked up everytime I see it. Conker's Bad Fur Day was the biggest video game that influenced my life. I never expected Conker to get all serious for a moment. The happy-go-lucky squirrel had been through hell. And it took a monologue from him just for us to figure that out.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head that hasn't been mentioned is Drakengard. Multiple endings, and every single one of them was unbelievably fucked up (including one where your entire party gets eaten by a horde of giant, carnivorous fetuses).

4. Infamous, weird that I saw it coming but loved the whole story simply amazing,
3. Halo 1, very satisfying.
2. Marvel Ultimate Alliance, havent played the second but was blown away by the first, every desision adding up was cool and unexpected.
