W...T...F Firefox...

So..yea. I used to love firefox over IE, it was faster, easier to use and had awesome functions like "you are about to close firefox, would you like to save & quit, quit, or cancel. It could have cool skins to.

Now..all of a sudden..update happens. Now I have to fish though god knows what the fuck in order just to clear my cashe, and cookies n shit.

updates again...now what the fuck is this shit I can't save&quit to preserve my tabs when I need to restart my comp? None of my downloads remain (not off the comp) but not on the reccent downloads button?

What the fuck firefox, are you trying to kill yourself as a good browser? You're trying awe-full fucking hard. Every update just removes another useful feature for no god damned reason and it's really pissing me off! Anyone here agree?

Every feature that you just claimed was gone is actually still there.

Is this the recent 3.6 update? Everything you've mentioned is still there, check the settings and enable any of these things if they're disabled.

I can't I checked the settings, I can be a bit slow sometimes, woulddja be kind enough to tell me how to re enable them? I know go to options, but where?

I don't know what is up with your computer but when I update Firefox it's fine, my downloads kept and so did my NG skin.

yea but open a few tabs, and try to close and save&quit before you end your session it won't ask anymore

Tools > Clear Recent History

Tools > Options > General Tab
Under Startup: When Firefox Starts select: "Show my windows and tabs from last time."

None of my downloads remain (not off the comp) but not on the reccent downloads button?

Uncheck the Browsing & Download History check-box when using the Clearing Recent History option. They should stay how many days you set under Options > Privacy > Under Remember my browsing history.

For me, Firefox takes a long time to start up.

I use Chrome, I find it's a LOT faster a better.
