You could follow all the rules and obey each one to the last letter but what it doesn't say in the rules is to not make a thread deemed stupid by any mod. As for what "shitty" is. Well that varies from mod to mod but rest assured that if you make one thread they don't like, even if you it isn't breaking the rules, it will most likely get locked.

Mods act according to the BBS-rules. Sure were all free to interpret the rules as we will, but we have good contact amongst eachother, and if in doubt, we can always check with oneanother to make te right call. The amount of threads being locked unjust is disappearingly small. You will never see a bullshit reason for a lock. May be that a mod is attemping some kind of OMGFUNNEEHHHZZ when making a the lock, but there's always a valid reason. In some cases the reason is so obviou it doesn't need to be stated, but there are always douchbags who don't read through the whole thread and don't get what's going on, and turn all OMG DIS AINT RITE OMG US-LAWS N SHIT OMG!!!1

I didn't think you'd actually post seriously either. Wow did I just get my mind wrapped around something out of the norm. Anyways, a lot of the newer topics that are popping in general aren't as horrendous as they once were. Some topics seem superfluous though since the same topic is on the same page at the same time. Then again you have days where users just seem to post one terrible topic right after the other.
