You can, but use some common sense on the length of that demo. Shouldn't be more than say... 40% of the total length.

Obviously it'd take away the point of putting an album out for sale, when the songs are freely available anyway. So yeah, put up a demo that encourages the listener to go and get the full version.

Anyone have a list of people who have submitted something for today? I recall another list, but i'm not sure if it has been recently updated.

I'm just wondering; i haven't got much feedback on my demo, so I'm curious if I have to redo anything.

ok kewl if i upload anything ill shorten it a bit.

BTW when reviewing, you dont have to take my feelings into account. i really dont take constructive criticism or even pure criticism to heart. Its all about getting the BEST out of my work. Plus from experience something i write that i think is amazing some might not like and some stuff that i hate sometimes people seem to love. so go ahead and tear me a new one with the reviews

Ok, so I've added a huge amount to my entry since sending the demo to you guys. Do you want me to send you the new version or just let you continue judging the one I sent you?

YES

ALSO: Loans, Mich, and the other guy are currently located in a different dimension, and so reviews are going to take a while(as I still need to fix the light beam converter in order for the dimensional warp to work properly). Thank you for your patience.

No the people who have sent in a submission are:

- statueofdiveo
- AlextheDJ
- SteliosLP
- Pushbar
- Apilot
- Kirbyfemur
- SessileNomad & Quarl
- Box-Killa
- kr1z & f-777
- Chozz
- Head-Full-of-Acid
- SymbolCymbal

<rant>

That's about half of you guys, and I am really starting to get pissed off. To those who signed up and have NOT submitted something, send me a PM why, because YOU FUCKS ARE DELAYING OUR ATTEMPT TO HELP THE PEOPLE IN HAITI AND YOU FUCKING COMMITTED YOURSELF WHEN YOU SIGNED UP SO YOU BETTER HAVE A DAMN GOOD REASON.

If I dont hear from you, or if this album goes under, prepare to be zero bombed everyday for the rest of your life if you didnt submit/dont have a reason.

To the rest of you who even relatively made the deadline, thank you.

I've noticed, when there's alot of participators, there's always some late entries.

Maybe it's better to drop the ones that get too tardy?

Is there something about my name that prevents it from being added to lists?

Anyway, I'll send the new version tonight. Any preference as to who I send it to?

There's not something about your name, loans just hasn't uploaded it to google wave yet which is all I have to go by.

Trust me if there was enough people that have submitted acceptable audio, we already would have dropped the rest. However, we only have 9 or 10 songs that I would even consider to consider considering.

Dude what the fuck. No. Out of line. That's idiotic bullshit.

This album is not, I guess I need to remind you, Under your direction. So please calm the fuck down and let me worry about whether or not people are submitting. Jesus fuck man.

To everyone, please finish your work as quickly as possible and send me something. I'm away from my equipment so I can't participate much in the review board right now, and I guess amaterasu's pretty busy, but we'll try to get you feedback just as quickly as possible. Be patient (especially you logicaldefiance), I'm sure we're all working just as fast as we can.

That said, please, please, please finish your submissions or send me a PM if you don't think you can get them done in the next few days. I'm going to have to cut everyone off at some point and declare what we have as sufficient.

Logicaldefiance, if you would like to forward what comments we have, please go ahead, we can always add followups later. There's a list in one of the waves of who has received comments.

Artists who have received (and wil receive) comments, please address any issues we raise and send me your revised work to be listened to again.

Ok, sent. Even so, there is way too much hate in this thread right now. I'm part of this project because it seemed like a good-natured and well-meaning attempt to use the abundance of talent here at NewGrounds for something meaningful... yet whenever I visit this thread I just see a lot of ball size comparisons.

Lets grow up people. This album will only work out if everybody cooperates.

Ok well this is going to be my last post in the thread, so just to clarify some things. I AM NOT in charge of this album what so ever, and if you are involved in the album at all you SHOULD know this already by doing something called "reading" like you are right now.

Any asshole comments that have come out of my mouth are because I am trying to help this album get moving along so that it can have a purpose sooner; because those organizations that are helping are not going to stay there forever, so the money given will gradually spread out to other causes as time goes.

I will still be helping review songs, and I still offer my advice if anyone wants to come to me for it. However, It has been made clear to me that my experience in the industry is not wanted for anything but reviewing. Soo good luck gentlemen.

If you haven't figured out funding, you could ask Sir Tom Fulp and we could all chip in.
