Why dosen't liljim make it so we can add friends on newgrounds? Or Tom approve of it, I mean it's brilliant, if you like someones flashes or if your making a colab just click *buddy list* and then oh yes, tons of users that you want to see their work at the touch of a button!

But don't you get it? We're becoming divers! In a good way. We'll always be for flash. But we can also do audio, art, literature & programming. I think we have a great website & if anything we should extend even further. Have a "video portal" for actual videos (like YouTube) & even portals for things like animated .gifs.

+1 Awesome. You pretty much defined the evolution of NG in the recent years. The video portal idea is a great idea, it'd just need heavy moderation.

We should also instead of nameing them portals we should name them with letters like a-b-c-d-e-f-g-h-i-j-k-l-m-n-o-p-q-r-s-t-

The friend system is so iffy for me. I dont want to see threads of ppl saying they're e-penis is even bigger due to the amount of "friends" they say they have

But I do like the idea of having a list of preferred others online and where on newgrounds they are at like; "they are watching/hearing ______ right now" or " instert thread name here " with a link to them to share the fun and to add to there now the " the account thingy here" thing now says those who you have added are there with you; with a scroll to see them all.

That is an absolute horrible idea. Why even bother to rival YouTube and waste bandwidth? And animated .gif portals would have little to no original content in them.

Newgrounds is not a social networking website, if you're that desperate to get social networking and flash from the same website then go to eBaums world or something.
