I've noticed a few users around the forum who are from Australia (including me) so I'm starting this club. I've not noticed another like this and a search had no club results. So here goes.

In this thread:
Discussion of current Australian news items.
Converse with other users living here.
Whatever else that comes to mind.

Rules:
Outsiders allowed - but no Australia haters.
Refrain from encouraging damaging stereotypes.
Regular forum rules.

Here's a signature if wanted. To associate with this club.

No no I'm sure there are more, I've seen them posting in threads about Australia in general.

I don't follow the sport. But last I heard we ruled the world. If we're slacking at the moment I'm sure it won't be long until we're number one again. Also, I'm half English. But born here.

Cool a place for Aussies. I have Australian citizenship, I've lived here for the last 2 1/2 years and I will probably spend the rest of my life here but I was born in the UK and grew up there. Thus I probably seem more like a Brit on holiday.

I'm going to be working my arse off over the weekend, just like I've been doing for the past 12 days. Then I'm going to just chill out for a few weeks and wait for my big paycheck to come in, then buy a whole load of the awesome video games coming out soon and build my own gaming computer.

There's another Aussie club, but it's been dead for ages. If the mods let this one fly, I'll be happy to join.

Been an Aussie for most of my life, moved here from Sri Lanka when I was barely a year old. Live in NSW (officially) but spend most of my time in Canberra where I'm at the ANU studying Software Engineering.

/boring life story

As for the Cricket, I think Pakistan's failure is more to do with how much they let themselves down rather than anything spectacular that we've done.

Sounds like the plan I have at the moment. All I'm sure of is I'll need a new PC before Diablo 3 comes out. The laptop I have at the moment struggles to run flash games sometimes and overheats without much encouragement (our weather isn't helping).

There is? I did a search but didn't notice a club or crew. I guess I should've asked JoS.

Small world. And in relation to the cricket:

Thanks sushi. I was quite proud with how it turned out. I guess if enough members use the signature I could add usernames to them. Kind of more appealing. Fair idea? Like each person has their name on theirs.

I'm expecting it to happen. But I mentioned in the rules I'd rather users refrain from doing so.

Even if Vegemite is pretty much bike grease.

Arj Barker thinks it needs more salt.

Sounds like a really good idea to me. And you might convince some people who wouldn't want to use the sig otherwise.

Vegemite with more salt is basically Marmite. And speaking of vegemite what do you guys think of the new vegemite? I haven't tried it but I can't imagine it tasting good.

This is how I've felt ever since I first heard. Classic Vegemite is fine for me. 'iSnack 2.0'.

OK here's one. I know I said I'd wait until we had more members but... wanted to. One for FD is up next.

Oh yeah I forgot it's called iSnack 2.0. Makes me want to punch something. Apparently it's just vegemite mixed with processed cheese spread, sounds fucking gross.

Thanks for the new sig! And I owe you one for getting rid of FD's Gay Chubby Dating sig.

I'm not sure if it's been changed or not but it's the lamest product name I've ever heard.

Hold on use this one. It's in the center unlike the other. Yeah I was surprised he changed it.

The jar we have in the fridge just says "Name Me" on it. I guess that's what it said before iSnack 2.0. Shoulda stayed that way...

You already put yours on? I don't see it. Guess I need to clear my cache again. Anyway I gotta get to bed, I have a lot of work to do tomorrow if I want to be getting my new computer by mid February. I really should try and get up by 10 and get 6 hours of sleep.

Well I kind of cheated and put it up just after it was mentioned. All I do is refresh the page like three times and it changes. Mid Feb? Post pics and specs when it happens. (I like computers). Oh right another plus is we're all in the same (or similar) time zone. But then again now people will know how late I'm awake. Night.
