I've got to say, that's a stereotype that's been propagated because it's useful. It's true that natives were often in the past abused or had their rights abused, but today they are hardly ever subject to hate crimes.

I still don't think the government treats them very well. And too many of them live in poverty, according to my sources. But those sources want me to buy food baskets and stoves for them, so I dunno how accurate they are. LOL.
