I laugh at your sigs!
I wouldn't mind the idea of a reboot if they would make it more dark and mature like Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but they wanna place the whole movie in high school and they want a younger director and younger cast, to please the audience who loves Twilight.
I say "Fuck Reboot". Sign this petition if you want Sam Raimi directing Spiderman 4 http://www.petitiononline.com/s4sam/

Funny how the fan-bases of Twilight and Dark Knight share so many members.
Sam Raimi is a good director, but once you separate his cult status from his actual ability, he's not really anything to get excited about. As far as I'm concerned there needs to be a reboot of the series as Spiderman 3 was a complete waste of time that irreparably destroyed the possibility of good sequels.
Another thing: All this posturing and whining about how soon the reboot is coming out is saddening. Real comic book fans are used to it, as artists and writers come in and out of franchises as regularly as the fucking tide. Raimi and his his overpaid cast of ne'er-do-wells clearly couldn't cut it, so it's time to move on to something new and pray that whoever takes the helm doesn't make the same mistakes.
To truly know death you must fuck life in the gall bladder.

Does anybody even read these?
THANK GOD! Spiderman 3 was seriously a mess of a movie. I love Sam Raimi and all but I am fucking happy that he is no longer directing, I mean he wanted to have The Vulture to be the main villain, who the fuck cares about the Vulture?
Credit goes to ChrisLovejoy for this spectacularly spooky sig! [Go fab to fight against breast cancer! For the sake of titties everywhere!]
I reckon they want to compete with "The Dark Knight".
Who cares about Spider-Man? When are they making "The Avengers" movie?
Oh boy, another high school movie! And with spiders!
All I care about is Iron Man 2.
Robert Downey Jr is a fucking legend.

Fuck that.
Spider-man has never been a dark and mature comic like Batman. It has themes and elements that are dark to Peter Parker himself, but as a whole the series isn't that dark. Spider-Man is still a wise cracking bad ass with some really interesting villains to back him up and serve as some great primary antagonist.
The only way I'd barely be okay with this reboot is if they decided to go with the Ultimate Spider-Man story which is a new age reboot on its own right, but even then I still don't care that much.
Cause I just feel like Spider-Man under Raimi just stopped dead cold without and real conclusion. It feels too...incomplete...
FUCK!
