Well, here's the deal, Sam Raimi is very busy with the WOW movie to direct Spiderman 4 to release it in summer 2011, and Tobey Maguire isn't interested in a fourth movie if Raimi isn't directing. So, what's the smart move that Sony pictures is doing? they're planning to make a reboot. WTF?, I mean, Spiderman 3 wasn't great, but it wasn't as terrible as Batman and Robin. why they can't wait a year or two and made the sequel with Raimi instead of start over again a franchise that's barely eight years old. It doesn't seem logical to me.

The problem isn't so much that John is going to play him, the problem is that they were close to centering an entire movie around THE VULTURE. I usually don't rage over movies but come on, of all of Spidey's villains he chooses the Vulture. I love Sam Raimi's movies but I am ecstatic that he's no longer directing Spiderman.
