Cool, if it doesnt workout I can try to give you some tips on how to fix it.

just checkin in. been a busy week at work. join people join. can't have 5 people with 1 second loops, we need quality but sadly quantity is a factor as well with really short loops.

Seriously. This is one of those cool collab ideas, that doesn't revolve around the typical NG archetype of potty humor, which usually garners more, and better, reviews. 20 participants would be ideal. C'mon y'all. Drop it like it was burning your hand. >:P

i know i need to try and get more people. I tried to make an art portal submission to get ppl to come to the page. Might have gotten some people to look. I guess maybe post the collab in your blog thingy and see if we get peeps? I know some people were interested when they saw it mentioned in Boogleys.

so.. should i go on to make a good detailed version of this ?

Ha yeah I can tell what it is. It's a good sketch, but keep a few things in mind.

It needs to come from nothing and leave as nothing. you have it coming from off the screen. The way to fix this is have hte pieces that are coming in, start really small and grow as they get closer.

Remember to make it come to a still image. The fire doesn't need to be animating once the spaceship comes in.

And I'm not sure if the color is there as a guide, but make sure the 2 final versions you send r in black and white and the other using one color.

Looks good so far, keep it up.

2 more on there way. Gotta tweak em a bit. One is an angled skull and the other is a kind of planet thing surrounded by multiple rings.

Thanks guys, I gotta still try and make some tweaks on em to smooth em out a bit. I also did a loader > Menu thingy. I coded it and it works fine, but gotta start adding peoples names and animations to it.

Am I right in understanding that it doesn't matter whether stuff 'comes in' from off-screen or from little droplets that originate onscreen?

How are they going to be put together in the final thing? Are they gonna be played overlapping each other?

Hey glad your interested. The 2nd examples is what made me want to make something like this in the first place. I will have 2 versions to watch. That 2nd example is how it will be displayed in one. The 2nd option will be one after another. Each person's will come in and out by itself in a sequential order. I will also have a credits pages for each person, that has their images. If you roll over the image, it shows you the animation.

No they do not come from off screen. Each one needs to form from on screen. If you look at some of the other pieces, you will see that most people have theirs grow into their image, then the pieces shrink as they animate out(the little droplets you speak of).

Yes Sunday is the deadline, but if more people are interested and let me know, I will push back the date a bit. i just wanted to give people a time frame so they wouldn't slack off and try to do it last minute.

Nice job, but that box cannot be there. You're going to have to really lighten up the paper, or try to remove most of it. You can go through and mask it out or erase most of it. It's okay if some of it is there around your image, but it can't be a box like that, do you think you can remove some of it?

yeah, it doesn't have to be all of it. Try to outline your outlines. So it will be like the paper, outlines the pencil. It will look like the paper is animating also, instead of just sitting there in a box. Get what I mean?
