All you do is go to the Portal and vote on five different movies/games per day. When you do that the system will automatically deposit Experience for you each day. When you gain enough experience you'll level up.

You vote on 5 flash submissions per day, using the buttons highlighted in the picture below.

By doing this, you gain a maximum of 10 experience points per day. There is no other way of gaining experience.

Eventually, as you accumulate points, you will level up - here is a list of the experience points required for each new level.

You have to vote on 5 flashes to deposit your experience for the day.

You only get 10 experience a day, and there is no way to get more daily. At 12am EST you can deposit again because that is when the grounds gold day restarts.

There really is nothing more to it than that. Oh, and it doesn't matter what you rate the flash or if it passes or gets blammed, it will always still deposit for you. Just make sure you are voting fairly on the flash based on the content and not just to deposit quickly.
