3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsI recently watched a documentary about 18 girls who got pregnant at the same time. If found myself strangely transfixed buy this, the year previous there was only 5 pregnancy's through out the year and then 18 girls all at once get knocked up.
Theres obiously something a miss, you would have to be impaired to not see the coincidence.
Also I know I'm a year off but the BBC ran it again over the holidays.
So thoughts anyone?
what a coincidence it was also at the same time that you were a virgin 18 times

Geez, no need to brag about it. You're guaranteed a show on TLC.

So I'll give society 25 years until fucking in public becomes perfectly acceptable and even encouraged.
they all were friends and they all had a pact to get pregnant at the same time.
true shit.
They were friends who decided to get pregnant and raise there children together. It was all over the news a while back.
I remember seeing recently too a NG user from there, it was like a day or two before I had seen the documentary. I cant remember who though >.< .

This story is from my hometown. You are misinformed. As was the (now resigned (yet awesome)) principal who suggested this. There was no pact to get pregnant.
Anyway, I know several of the mom's/dad's involved in the whole fiasco. Even though it's horribly embarrassing for such a great community as Gloucester to have this sort of story draw international attention, it's even worse that the facts have been distorted as they have been. This town is a highly Catholic community with a generally conservative mindset, the problem is that the public school nurse was prohibited from giving birth-control to students. A couple highly respected health officials within the local school system resigned over the incident, because of their frustration with the city's refusal to allow birth-control's prescription.
It's since been allowed. The incident really put pressure on the city council to approve the measure. Go to Gloucestertimes.com if you want to read an article talking about the incident (in relation to this stupid new lifetime movie coming out that's totally bogus).
Tick Tock

No way man.
The White House doesn't have enough people around it; we're going to Times Square baby.

Holy shit, you live in Gloucester?! I live only about 100 miles away (other side of Mass)!
In less stalker-ish news, we were just discussing this in my health class yesterday, I'm dead serious. It's a very strange tale, but it's further proof that Mass has some pretty shitty school systems if something like birth control isn't allowed. Abstinence isn't always the way to go.
"one even seeking a homeless 24-year-old man in her efforts to conceive."
LOL, I love that part of it. That one must be a real go-getter.

Evark.... you say EVERY story is from your hometown.
They all made a pact to get pregnant.
Bunch of stupid bitched.
Oh God I remember this being on the local news. It was so ridiculous. They made pacts and what not, and apparently trapped a bunch of boys into fucking them unprotected. Stupid teens.
I read about this and they claimed it was all a coincidence, but someone fessed up and said that it was like a cult kind of thing where they all promised to have babies and raise them together or something because "pregnancy and babies are cool." I believe it was still an "unsolved phenomena" last time I checked. Not much else to it.
wear protection, kids.

See, WBZ didn't clarify that at all. I vaguely remember them mentioning it, but compared to how much media attention the 'pact' got, it was minuscule. Unfortunately that's how news works though: If it's not sensational then who truly cares, right?
Damn, wish I would've gone to that school.
