inglourious basterds was pretty damned neat although at one point my subtitles dissapeared in the bar-room scene and I had to rewatch 20 minutes after I finally realised they weren't coming back until I reset the DVD player

I enjoyed how the special effects were very mostly traditional as far as I could tell; shit CGI scalp-carving and associated skull mutilations just don't make the cut...!

Apparently there are 4 different versions of Paranormal Activity all with different endings. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I have seen it and have friends that have seen it and we seem to have seen very different versions of the same movie.

I havnt seen it but I heard that its just alternate endings,not alternate versions.I could be wrong though.

Paranormal Activity was good and all, but it was not really scary. I sort of like the whole found footage genre though. I've yet to see Inglorious Basterds.

Neither were very entertaining IMO; PA was just dull/over hyped and disappointing and IB was just Quentin Tarantino jizzing on his own stomach for two hours.

Who ever said it was real?? In Australia part of the advertising campaign was that it was shot for the measly price of $15,000, and it only starred 4 people/actors, and that it was a Blair Witch style movie.

I never went to see Paranormal Activity, but Inglorious Bastards was actually a really really good movie in my opinion. So please don't be like "Paranormal Activity sucked so bad I.B. was better" cuz Inglorious Bastards was awesome.

P.A. was actually pretty good... if you looked at teh time and money it took to make ti... (not that much) and the whole like 4 person cast... it's an easy movie adn easily made more than it took to make it...

IT was a good idea. it was played out well for what the producer/director had and i thought it worked well.

anyone that believes in ghosts or paranormal stuff will like it...
