so alot of people have been sayng this australian kfc ad is racist because theres a group of people there all black and theres only one white guy and he wants to see some cricket game or shit and all of the people are exited and jumping around and the white guy can't see so he pulls out a bucket of kfc and it calms down the crowd so he can view his game or whatever and people are saying this is racist due to the fried chicken stereotype.

I think what they're trying to show is some person, who has got nothing in common with all of these different people, but when he hands out the KFC, he realises that everybody loves KFC and that brings them together.

Because black people in America are a minority (even though I'm not american, I assume most people reading this will be), whereas football fans are a majority where football is popular, or Russians in Russia.

The black people are from the West Indies, at the time this commercial was made Australia was playing against The West Indies in a cricket series, it wouldn't of mattered if the other supporters were English, South African or Pakistani the same concept applies that one supporter in the middle of a group of other supporters for a different team is going to be uncomfortable.
KFC is only saying that KFC makes rivals friends.
It's annoying that the U.S can just call Australia racist over something that has nothing to do with America, without any knowledge or context of the subject.
