I have an idea for something that could be done as an episodic flash series, small multiplayer game or even potentially an MMO.
A run-a-round RPG where the player plays an alien scouting out planet Earth after many freak events took place, nearly wiping out mankind and leaving the globe strewn with an assortment of baddies.
With the ability to have more than one massive calamity happen on Earth, we then have a game storyline that can not only have an interesting and wide variety of monsters, equipment and other fun things but also provide a functional explanation for their existence.
If it were to be a small multiplayer game kept to NG alone, I would think it would feature other races to pick from than the one alien race, each player playing another investigator on the behalf of their own planet - Such a planet could be valuable property to another species, for a variety of reasons that would not be hard to write,
If I ever somehow had the luck to make it some kind of MMO for profit or not, I've already kicked around the idea of multiple planets to explore and an RPG with entertainingly customizable ships and working player/NPC crews... I'm sure that's a pipe dream though.
What I seek is additional talents! Animators, programmers, sound engineers and voice actors - If you'd be willing to lend your talent and see where it goes, I'm willing to go the distance, include you actively into the project and, depending on how it turned out, even invest money in the name of progress!
What I have to offer is an assortment of creative writing experience allowing me to form massive universes of storyline if I want to, an eye for light application of graphics skill, adaptability, coordination with groups and the ability to market things. Additionally I am also fairly capable of creating websites, easily able to make up for my lack of complex knowledge of the language to find what I need to fit my vision. I'm prepared to pick up some new trades in the course of this game's creation, but before I can get pumped for the project I need some home of getting it somewhere!
Every single person counts, enough dedicated individuals will eventually lead to more momentum. Message me or posts questions.
Ideas/storylines are worth nothing if they can't be brought to life.
Also, your lack of understanding on the limits of AS3 is concerning.

Cant anyone for once have an original story line? I mean this kinda stuff has been done before except its slightly different. Dead Frontier is an example
