Hi, one day i went on to google and i clicked a link, it took me to a different website to the one i clicked and it had viruses in it, my google chrome blocked it so my computer was fine, but whenever i click on links it takes me to a different website, except in some cases it takes me to the right one, i tried different browsers and different search engines and the problem still persisted, i searched up the problem on google and it happened to other people, but there wasnt any fixes (that i could see) so i ran an avg scan and it didnt find anything bad but now every so often it comes up with a pop up saying the computer found a trojan, i try to delete it and it says it can not be found, so i put it in the vault and it does it fine, but it still pops up saying different names of the virus everytime, in C:/WINDOWS/Temp/ and one of them as an example says pjcb.tmp/svchost.exe Trojan horse PSW.Generic7.AYUC so i tried to go to C:/ to delete the files and it says Another program is using this file C:/WINDOWS/System32/sdra64.exe can anyone help?

Also the post I wrote probably isn't relevant to the post at all and if it is, its probably the wrong answer.

Also, when i start up windows and go on to task manager, it shows avg free, but it shows no icon, and if i try to close it, it trys to shut down my computer, and i press cancel, and it goes away, and my avg is still fine, so i have no idea. Also if i open up task manager fast enough its name changes to AVG Anti-virus free

Run something like adaware, it'll delete trojans too. You need to be more careful with what you're searching for and what you're clicking on.

Here is the best I have ever used, adding on to Jessii's suggestion.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ - Run that in SAFE MODE for best results, meaning on startup for windows at least, press F8 until it gives you the option to run in safe mode.
http://www.superantispyware.com/ - Used to have issues to remove it (from your computer), has been fixed, very good.
http://free.avg.com/ww-en/homepage - When you get the other issues fixed, try downloading AVG so your computer has it, and not the virus version.

Uh he has the free version of avg...
I'd also recommend http://www.trendmicro.com. What I don't really recommend is free antivirus scanners that aren't realtime. You also need to make sure that the software is updated at least once a week.

Spybot is pretty good for getting rid that type of virus.

this sounds like the behavior of a polymorphic virus or possibly a root virus. if the virus has crapped all over your registry, it will be much harder to clean up and i would recomment saving important documents using a live linux cd (like knoppix) and then reinstalling windows. of course, this is a last resort.
using a live linux cd to save your documents is the safest way to do so i believe (although it may be a bit of overkill). anyway, when all else fails just reinstall windows.

Ironically, this could be a legitimate internet spam attack.
On google.
It involves sending out spam copies of ligitimate pages syncronized with the real page, to dupe a computer. supposedly it works 1/20 without the hotfix.
Most likely though, you have a virus in your internet (explorer) eating your hyperlinks.

Mis-information is a crime.
Do not accept it.
Demand a genuine reply from your video retailer.
the clue here was the contradictory "legitimate spam attack" nonsense.
