Gum and Mintes

So whenever I get a pack of gum I chew all of it in a few hours. I don't swallow it. This gives me terrible gas for the rest of the day that smells like shit. Whenever I get sugar free minuts I eat it all in about an hour. This also gives me shitty gas. So I ask you?
