You need to put the relevant transfer protocol into the links (like http:// ftp:// and https://) if they refer to other sites / files on other sites, else it's assumed that the link points to a file on the site the link resides on - in your example, the link you created points to http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/www.newgrounds.com - probably not what you intended ;-)
