all i can say dude: proportions.
you should study the human figure, get some ideas on the shapes and where everything's supposed to go. I really dig your colors though.

thx.
Yo I'm back, sorry I was gone so long, I got sick and couldn't really goof off to much... So since I'm back and school's started my Drawer's Block is lifting and here is my current wip.
I know it's not much but it's my first drawing in about a month...
Anyways it's called The War of The Hills and I plan on doing a few of these if you guys think they're cool.
and yes I am aware that the name is similar to The War of the Worlds but it's supposed to be like that since there will probably be a diversity amongst the stickmen.
Enjoy!
Oh and my camera isn't so good so I made the fire slightly lighter and darkened areas... :P
Posemaniacs is good too. its got nice practicing tools

They have books? I thought they had only released the dvd boxes...

????? Are you referring to my other drawings? Cause right now I kinda wanted comments on whether my new one is funny or not.

It's really good, only wish I could see it in better resolution.
Unfortunately for me I'm not 16 yet so I can't get a job to buy one, especially with the state the economy is in. :( I should get a camera with flash or something...

That sucks :/ got plenty of jobs here in Holland, and not only for 16 y/olds, you can start from 15 years here.
Meh, Camera with flash would screw it up even more, making your pic too bright, and we won't be able to see anything.
Maybe you could do small jobs for people? I mean, a sufficiently good scanner shouldn't cost more than maybe a 100$ nowadays... you could gather it easily...
Oooor, you can start drilling your parents about it, until they get tired by it and just buy it for you ^.^

Yeah I could but they'd probably say no since $100 is no small thing if you don't see a point to buying it. It's ironic that I should need a scanner since my dad found a brand new one like 5 years ago( that was around the time I started to learn how to use a computer) and I gave it away since I had no idea what it did...I regretted it a month later when I found out what it did.

a flash will ruin it. Definetly become an expert photographer when it comes to taking pictures of your art, spread the light source evenly, and buy a stand for your camera or something.
As for the picture itself, no stick figures please! Your art is above that. As for everything else though, it's looking good. :)

What about the big guns?
Yeah I got my style back!!! Check it out I can draw different angles again! I've been in a funk lately so my art has been mainly stick figures but check this out!
The proportions are supposed to look like that since he's not entirely human as can be seen by his eyes and the fact that he has grey fire. Part of my non-human collection, the other one is the guy with dreadlocks on the first page.

I think the guns kinda add to it, so idunno. just have humans holding the guns lol

The non-humans are supposed to be tall and skinny hence the NON-human. And about the 2D I have no idea how to change that...but yeah some of them are kinda flat.
I especialy like the head of your first drawing, most of your characters faces are actualy pretty good. what you gotta do is start studying the human body and its proportions and find more dynamic poses for your characters, if you start drawing from real life and memorising the things you see, all of your drawing will improve. what especialy bothers me is the arms. you can't get away with just drawing bumps on both sides. you gotta think on where the muscles and bones are located, just look at your own arms in the mirror if you hafto. btw, despite what you think, the angel girl is far from your best work... owh, and stick figures are only good for working out a dynamic pose for your character as a skeleton of some sort. once you find the proper pose, build your character around it. also, one of the mistakes i often made in the past is having my characters limbs seem stiff, you don't always hafto draw knees and elbows in a sharp angle, sometimes a smooth curve works alot better.
...This is indeed a disturbing universe... O_o
