Score Rank???

Hello. I've really only started using NG properly within the past month and I'm not sure about something on he Audio Portal. My question is:

**How do you get Ranked on the Audio portal?**

I really don't get how it works. Thanks!

You gotta be a tad more specific, are you talking about how you get on the front page? Or how your are ranked over all with every one else?

Well I'll answer both anyway. 1.) You don't, the audience decides that. 2.) You are ranked by your score and how much people vote on it out of five. If you have over a hundred listens, you can also look to see your submission in the genre section by rank, unless the rank is very low (below 1.00).

Id say the amount of pepole voting and how good your score is, the more pepole and good scores=higher score rank.

I think once something gets 20+ votes, then it's score rank counts for something.

I just confirmed on what I said before. A minimum of a score of 1.00 and a hundred listens in order to have it register as a rank.

Somebody can correct me if I'm still wrong though.

I have a song with over 200 listens and a score of 4.60 and 23 vote. I still don't have a score rank.

The 'score rank' might be something that's updated periodically.

You get a score rank after 20 Votes. It is updated Once a week at 12:00 AM Eastern. That is why 20+ votes is required to get on top 5.

Yeah, I always have to wait a while for my score rank to show up after 20 votes.

By the way, I suppose this is related to the topic:
Does a frontpage count on who has the most score rank, or is chosen by mods/admins?

The audio page top list is entirely automated. The four tracks on the main front page, however, are chosen by audio moderators.

Actually, its updated once A DAY, so if you have 21 votes you should get a score rank the next day. :)
