you could always make the game anti-semitic, and get millions in free pubilicty like PotC without using innocent n00bs for your demented parlor games

Public service only gets publicity when you have a PR team making sure the press shows up. Besides, we can barely manage our current traffic, so publicity hasn't been needed for a long time now.

This is the game JohnnyUtah and I have been working on.

I live in the midwest but I would be more than happy to jump in my car and drive to a mass volunteering deal. It could help a community and also alot of people could get to meat longtime NG friends.

Wuss. With the airline prices so damn low, I'd definately be there.

I'd like to make a name for myself in the Newgrounds 'Australian Division'.

Hmm. I'm usually a busy guy but I might just make the 30-min drive down 95 to help out. If it's somewhere where I don't have to pay big bucks to park that would be a plus.

I just hope actual real work gets done instead of the whole thing dissolving into a bizarre social shmooze-fest of internet wierdos.

I've heard that Alien Homid is due for Gamecube release in Europe, is that true?

Oh, and about volunteering, I'm in England, so I'd only be useful as an overseas manager or something. (Modest sarcasm)

Thats a nice thing to do and you have my full support (about the volunteer thing ), although I live in Nebraska.. so helping you out in person would be a somewhat difficult task, You've got support from Omaha,Ne. :) Oh yeah, good luck with The game.

Thats actually a good idea. There are a lot of memebers of this site. Maybe plan some volunteer work in major cities, and give everyone helping a T-shirt (Thrifty one) Something pure blick that just says www.newgrounds.com

Then, not only would you be helping a community, but it would also be good promotion for newgrounds.

I live in a small town, but I might be able to do a little somethin on my own part.

Alien Hominid development has become a lifestyle and I haven't had much else to talk about - and I can never say much about Alien Hominid because we like to keep so much under wraps. I will say that the end is in site, the game is AMAZING, and I can't wait to see it on the shelves. :)

I was curious, if NG ever had "volunteer days", how many people would be in the vicinity to join us? If we ever got people together, we could start with something as simple as trash picking (or "beautification", if that sounds nicer), then perhaps set a goal for some sort of largscale service project once we get organized. Do you have a serious interest in that sort of thing, and are you available in the Philly area? Let me know!

if i was in the area i would love to help out but i live in calf. so ya know i dont think i would be of much help to you but im glad to see your trying to do something like this good job ^.^

good luck on production of AH! i'm definitely pulling for ya!

as far as the volunteering thing, i can't help much because i'm far away, but lemme know if you'd be interested in setting up something like that in Los Angeles. i'd be down to help with that, as i'm a big fan of community service.

you guys rock!!!
