How do Collections work?

Howdy, folks!

Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere, but I wasn't able to find anything on the forums or in the FAQ. Please don't hesitate to call me a moron if it's there and I didn't see it.

What exactly is required for a game to be approved for a collection? Are submissions hand-picked by the administrators, or do they automatically get approved after a certain number of recommendations? If the latter, how many recommendations are required?

Is it against the ToS to request recommendations in the Author Comments of your game? How about inside the game itself? On the forums?

Thank you guys for the help, just trying to figure out how to go about giving my game the best chances of getting approved.

now i dont know enough information but from what i have gather i belive that users can recommend something for a collection and then the admins then hand pick out of the ones suggested... athough i could be wrong with this...

i have seen alot of flashes with comments saying "recommend this for "such and such" collection... and i strongly belive that there are no rules regarding asking in the comments of the flash/game or inside...
