Don't worry it was just an exaggeration, its really a great piece of equipment. The only mechanical problem I have ever had was when I didn't turn all of the equipment of in the right order (Speakers > Mixer > Turntables) and that resulted in it not turning on for 18 hours and the screens would flash ever time I smacked the power adapter. This was especially scary because this was the second day that I had it. So do buy it though, you just got to be vigilant.
Make sure to get it from Numark.com, thats the cheapest place to purchase it.

Wait, why are there equalizers in the Techno Studio? I thought there were supposed to be TEN Bass Boosts and compressors in place of that.
