Program used: Pixen
Time used: around 1 1/2 - 2 hours
Res: 80x80 pixels
Web-safe colors only

I wonder if I should animate it, like a waving flag, and people in the windows walking back- and forth.
Any opinions?
Anything that should be added?
Anything that looks wierd?

That's actually pretty damn good, the only thing is that you forgot to bring over some shading to some places, the little building would be in shade from the big building, and there should be a bit of shading on the left, where the window juts out.

Okay, some shading added, also added cracks and stuff on the roof.
Anything more?

From now on, there are two things I might do:
1. Animate the building with waving flags and people and such.
2. Start builiding a parking lot, and fences, roads, other buildings, and stuff.

Any opinion on wich one I should chose?

well, the runner is ok for about half a step, and then he begins to pop real bad, you need more inbetweens,
also running at a 3/4 angle is pretty hard, especially if you have never done a walk/run cycle. you should do a profile and head on walk/run cycles first to get the rhythm down and keep a good solid eye on your keyframes and you inbetweens.

Thank you for the comment, I have in fact done a couple of running/walking cycles earlier, but I have little/no knowledge of anotomy and that kind of stuff.

How do I learn anotomy anyway? Just study bodies, and poses?

Anyway
I would REALLY like some commen on the pixel building

Get some interior going, or a few lights. Glowing windows always look nice and moody.

well that is a start. look over muscle charts and skeleton charts they will help, buy probably the best thing you can do is attend a life drawing class. And when you to go to classes like that, be sure to ask the teacher for demonstrations on anything and everything. Just constant practice drawing from a live person in front of you will help greatly.

Nah, The building next door will have one, and the one next to that one, and so on ...
I decided to go for a big-ass large pixel city project instead of just one animated building anyway

Anyway, here's a panorama taken from the coast near my holiday house (it's calles Øygarden there btw ...)
I didn't know that I shouldn't change the blender, and shutter options untill two days later, sooo ... yeah, you get the idea ...
unnecessary large image can be found about here.

Not very smooth at all. It's a good attempt seeing how hard animating actually is. If you really wanna make a good animation you should animate the skeleton and then once your happy with how that looks draw the character over top.

Your pixel art looks pretty ace and your 3d stuffs good too. Looks like your quite a diverse artist :D

I did that on the keys, and then inbetweened all the others, but i now realise I should have made sceletons for all the extremes as well ...

The reason i do all that different stuff is because:
1. I kinda like doing pixel art
2. I believe I will use 3D later anyway, plus it's fun

3. I realised at some point that I'm not that much of a drawer xD

Please tell me who you are, almighty original author!

NOTE: I'm still working on the car, but you was right, RNNR, that was one ugly car to model ...
