I know the feeling man. My dad suffers from severe depression..and i'm telling you, you'll know when you get that bad. One thing he does to try and cheer up is, think about stuff that's bringing him down..and does something to change that. Whatever it may be.
Simple things like, walking in the park...sitting on the grass. Listen to music, that's a good one.
If you spend more than thirty minutes feeling depressed talk to a friend. Get up and move, pick up the phone and call someone who is a caring person. Let them know that you are depressed. Share with them this list of tips before hand if possible and ask them to help you when you get depressed. Have a person you can trust and to whom you can express your feelings of anger.
Make an effort to get rid of grudges, resentments, bitterness, anger, etc. on a daily basis. "Don't let the sun go down on your wrath." Deal with your anger before you go to bed at night.
