Ummmm...more specific please?
The background tracks of christian music aren't much different than secular music, though christian music does have more orchestral presence.
My first suggestion would be to listen to many types. When you say "christian rock" what style do you mean?

Write a generic rock song and replace every 3rd word with Jesus.

That would be Cartman's way, but not the right way.

I used to work at Christian Radio Station. (I'm not christian) They always claimed that the music had general market apeal (it really didn't). I would say look at it like you would any other rock song. But most Christian Rock doesn't have the same budget as regular rock so you should use a lot more keyboards Christian rock Sonically sounds more like pop then it does rock so make it really digital with lots of keyboard leads. In your guitar playing take a look at some old gospel or soul songs sheet music. From that you should find the right Key I suggest someone like Johnny Cash or Elvis. But there is a huge variety to chose from. Once you have your key and you are accustomed to the classics you should have an Idea of what you are trying to accomplish... (then its up to you)
Hope that was helpful.

The popular christian music isn't generally rock. It's more alternative/folk, with a pop twist. Usually it involves guitars, bass, drums, sometimes a synth, and an orchestra. Depends on who your listening to.
One of my favorite bands in the christian genre, is no doubt Jars of Clay. A good mix of beatlesque type writing with some folk.

Newsboys are more or less a perfect example of how to write christian pop rock.

I believe there is no christian music. It doesn't exist. What matter is the lyrics so you should pay more attention to them. And remember music is from God. My point is, all the music is there for us now it will depend on how and for what/whom you gonna do it for.

Haha, all the die hard athiests are going to eat you up boyo.
I'm agnostic.
Just have a browse on the internet, look for songs that fit the genre you want to create, and take aspiration from them.
You could always make some Christian metal style music, like the band P.O.D

If it's for school just get a generic guitar and drum backing track off the internet and loop it. No one will care.

There's heavy metal screming christian bands as well. It's not limited to one type. But mainstream can be (like any other music genre)

He was referring on techno dance clubs where people go to wave their hands to "unce-unce" all night long and have a lot of Ecstasy and Red Bull.
Actually there is some Christian music on NG ;)

OP, like everyone else is saying, you need to be more specific if you want us to help. What kind of instrumentation you're working with might help...

ok my thoughts on christian rock...it should not be a genre, idk why ppl call it that, the content of the music should not be a part of the genre naming, it should be the sound
thats like saying vegetarian hip-hop, scientologist jazz, or mormon DnB
the kind of music OP is looking for can just be called rock(or general rock if your strictly goin ng genres)

It's called christian rock so that christians can easily avoid secular music. I don't see any problem with that particular distinction being made.
