So my brother didnt get into brown and he had a bit of a freakout and he threw some stuff around (paper towels and stuff, nothing major) and she called the FUCKING MENTAL HOSPITAL, and I think she wasnt faking.

Parents will do the most fucking stupid of things just because their offspring gets angry. Calling 911 because your child is angry does nothing to help with the problem. Honestly, parents these days are resorting to the stupidest shit in the history of parenting.
There needs to be a "no angry child" policy for police. Honestly, it's not going to solve the fucking problem. Fucking idiots.
Also, your mother is a dumb bitch if you didn't get the point from the above. Your brother is completely fine, getting angry is natural, there is nothing to restrain such emotion. He's not going to get admitted to a mental hospital for "being angry". No person will. Ever.
What a horrible experience for your brother. First of all, it was nothing short of stupid to be that stuck on getting into Brown, but much more than that, he's going to have an awful experience being watched by a mental hospital, if your mother thinks that he's suicidal or something.
I wonder what the woman's problem is. Leave the kid the fuck alone and let him calm down. I've never been sent to a mental hospital, but I was once driven to the hospital on entirely fabricated accounts of threatening suicide, and that was fucking obnoxious.
