I am a very observant person by nature, and I don't blindly walk about when there are patches of ice in my path, pot holes full of water, etc. Don't most people look at the ground when they walk over unsafe terrain? I know I do, maybe that's why I rarely wipe out and fall down. :P

If I had stepped on that ice it would have just shattered it all and my shoe would have gone into the water below.

Not always, and for this I had to get my camera and go back outside. Luckily this was just behind my house, so I didn't have to go far out of my way to get a picture.
