to start off, george bush is a bad president. i don't like him and i certainly would never vote for him. but, i would like to point out, since not many other democrats have, that he does have his good points about him. he did support stem cell research, which was good. plus, the biggest positive about gwb, he's not a racist. in any way. i live outside of philly, and he came to philly to help out the black community. as governer of texas, he did a lot of good for the latino community. he made sure that it was easier for people in america to become citizens. he welcomes foriegners to our country. in short, he has worked to help minorities gain acceptance in this country. again, if you've read any of my other points, i don't support george bush. but i wanted to make sure that the facts were out there. not everything he does makes him look like a moron.

I´m from Austria and so I don´t know much about the american politics, but I also think that George W. Bush is destroying america! But he isn´t only destroying america. He also destroys the whole world with his bad wars! It was okay to catch Saddam Hussein but he shouldn´t kill such a lot of "normal" people! But when he makes war then he should also catch Osama Bin Laden! He is a bad man too! But all in all Osama, Saddam and Bush are the same bad men! They all aren´t good for the world! That´s my oppinion. And what about you? Do you agree?

Bush isn't comparable to Saddam or Osama, and it isn't exaclty EASY to catch a terrorist like Osama bin Laden. Also, you said you don't know much about American Politics, well in that case you can't make ANY good judgement about our President, also, Bush didn't START the war on terrorism THE TERRORISTS DID. America is being accused of starting wars, but America didn't start the war on Terrorism. I respect how people don't agree with the Premptive war in Iraq, but the rest of the wars are JUSTIFIED and were not started by America.

Finally, Bush is not a dictator, his power IS limited by the constitution, and although you may not agree with his policies, do so in an orderly and patriotic manner please. He is you president, and if you have a problem with that, vote for someone else.

Really, great. I though Innocent meant free of guilt, and blameless. I like your defininition, I was worried that we were actually killing people that were blameless.

I doubt that we are purposely targeting civillians, however, if we are, then obviously they are somehow supporting the military.

If we were bombing Switzerland as our way to demonstrate military might against Iraq, I'd say you have a case. But if you live in a country that is at war, it's not really possible to be innocent. Maybe if we were intentionally bombing POW camps, or something.

Consider the firebombing of Dresden, or the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. All of these attacks targeted 'innocents,
' but they obviously had a bit of an effect on the military capabilities of the nations that were bombed. The United States isn't even targeting civillians, we are merely causing civillian casualties as a result of our military actions.
