Popular Ng Tracks For Reference

In each and every genre, and especially the more popular genres, at the "score" cap on the list, where everything seems to even out, for example in trance where 4.37 seems to be the even out point, there are hundreds upon hundreds of really good tracks, that people have enjoyed, many with thousands upon thousands of listens and votes.
These could be labeled as the most popular and successful songs on ng, yet since they are buried with the rest of the songs out there with significantly less votes, it becomes very tedious to browse the genre charts for the gems. Many artists would benefit from hearing and being able to get a grasp of which songs end up with, for example in track, a 4.37 with twenty thousand listens, and five thousand votes, and then being able to reference them.
If this thread goes correctly, and stays in the spotlight, it should help motivate at least a few artists to get making new tracks, as well as drive up the quality of their submissions. So lets get posting!
Post in this thread all the songs that fit this criteria:
1) They are near the "score" cap for their genre, where almost all really good songs go,
2) They have thousands upon thousands of hits, preferably tens of thousands of hits.
FINALLY: post as many songs in your posts as you can, but make sure they fit those criteria, the more listens the better, no need to post any commentary either

I highly agree with this. I thought it was clear by now, that the scores on NGA are not representative of actual production/composing value. Unless of course you would call 'skill' 'ability to make a song that can get popular on NGA'.

I don't like the motive of this thread- artists should listen to what they think sounds good to themselves, instead of using other popular songs and creating a similar product. It's not the natural way of composing.

pffff...no theres to many different opinions on what good music is. and generally, popular music on newgrounds is just music that got featured in a popular flash... so...blame the artist for liking that type of music, and everyone else agreeing. but yeah. this thread is a redundant idea

If it's fine to be redundant like that, then where's the harm in posting a song or two of yours as long as it is legitimately popular?

I don't care if you psot your own links. I only care if the purpose of the thread is caried out. if you have a song with 50k hits and 4.36(and most likely you hate that track with a passion) then go ahead and post it, but theres hundreds of tracks that fit this criteria so go find um!

I'd say the bigger issue is that the track you posted (of yours) didn't meet the criteria stated at the beginning of this thread. So both have a point.
It is indeed better to look for other people's work that fits the criteria and to post it.. but there is no harm in posting one of your tracks if it fits the bill as well.
