Your NG Journey

Well, I'm just a bit curious as to how we all got onto Newgrounds in the first place, how old we were, how it's impacted our lives, etc.

Sorry if this has been done before, but I can't search for it properly under 20 characters, and I don't see it now!

The discovery: It was around 2003, and I was 10 years old.
I was looking for free MMORPGs online. I typed something into google, and one of the results was Newgrounds. Specifically, it took me to the Skullkid game where you go through a workplace and slaughter everyone. I loved it.

I kept playing games on Newgrounds, then I found the mature section. I was young, puberty was coming on, and this site had TONs of games that would interest a boy in my situation.

I went to NG exclusively for dating sims, dress up games, and other crap for a while. I just looked at the pictures, but I eventually learned how to masturbate from the game King Stroker! xD

I kept on visiting the mature section, and would just go look at the regular games when the deed was done. I got really into MMORPGs and Flash games right around 05'.

I was an on and off NG user for a couple of years, but finally made an account after giving the BBS a shot after a long time, and that's what reeled me into the community permanently.

NG forced me to mature pretty quick, something I'm a bit thankful for. I got used to intense violence, full frontal nudity, and lost all of my innocence before I was in 5th grade, but I'm thankful. :)

So, how do your stories go?
I'm particularly interested in the mods and staffers, since their lives have probably been impacted the most by NG.

i was about 15. i found it while looking for a place to play flash games in my high school, and a site that wasnt blocked.

as for life impaction, none.

newgrounds can curl up and die, and it wouldnt bother me

maybe then i wouldnt be finding links to videos of Lithuanian assfucks throwing dogs off bridges.

I was super young, like... Grade seven or some shit.
My friend was telling me about that Frank's Adventure game, and it sounded awesome so I came here to check it out (he recommended NG), and then I stuck around for the BBS once I made my first account in 05.

Well, I didn't know NG. When I found it, I only used to play games. So I decided to high my level, and I'm doing it very well I think :D I'm a police officer and it's fucking great

Threads like this have been made before, I really wish I made an account when I first found this site back in 2003. I was 10 years old & it took me 3 years until I worked out how to make an account. I tried to make "Dark-Claw20" but I'm glad I became GOTHCLAWZ.
