A lot of people have comment on the weekly tops for audio (not only on the forums, but also on IRC etc..). Therefore, I'm making this thread, where we can discuss the new tops (All time top 30 and Weekly best a.k.a. Top 5).
Every week, I (or someone else) will post the links of the weekly best songs, so this thread also serves the purpose of an archive.
Either way, we can't have this without a clear set of RULES, otherwise, we get crap, like last time.
RULES
#1 All BBS rules and audio forum specific rules apply.
#2 In case a tune have been heavily struck by what you suspect to be massvoters, please do not discuss that in this thread. There is an official thread for that.
#3 Only discuss the current top lists.
#4 You can be happy about getting a spot in one of the tops, feel free to mention, but don't overly boast about it.
#5 If anyone mentions zerovoting or 'zerobombing', this person will be slapped with a large trout by yours truly, and risk having their rule-breaking post deleted and/or getting banned by any BBS-moderator.

I think this one really deserves it. It's a different style then what most others do here, so it was a nice fresh track.

I don't think I would say that it is the only track there that deserves it, but it is the best sounding track to me.

Being a fan of NCIS, i do enjoy theme remixes! This one is excellent, and despite the somewhat standard sound of the percussion, it's still a great trance track.

yeah, im an NCIS-fan myself (not LA tho lollol), and have time and time again reflected over the tune. it's one of the better tv-series themes i've heard all time i think.
the performance of the cover was OK i guess, the 303 towards the end was the best of it... the rest of the instruments, including the percs. like you say, are rather dull...

Yes, that is definitely an overuse of sidechaining. I think is track would flow better if he cut it back a bit and added some more power to the percussion.

Yeah i agree, Supra Darky made a great song,One of the best intros i have heard, it kinda reminds me of the 70's, i think it's because that stylish bass and also the track has a good and solid structure.

I see a lot of Krachmaninoff in the top 30 as well as the #1 song in the top 5, so I guess He or they has/have been doing well.
One I'd liked to have seen in this weekly best is Hades' "=In Defiance of Fate=", but oh well. Better luck next time!

#1 sounds like something an intro to audio student would be required to mix in a tradeschool, I'm somewhat curious how 5 of his pieces made it on the top 30. Granted, I suppose it's good for the genre it is, but then again I wouldn't know since I'm not an avid listener of modern classic rock.

Lol, I was gonna be modest and say "Oh, you're just being kind", but after hearing #5, I can say without any guilt that I would like to see my song up there instead of it. XD
Oh well, I guess next time, I'll just have to submit my songs under "Voice Acting". Who knows, might just get all five spots if I play my cards right! :D

You should rename that track "just another FL trance track", since that's what it is.
IMO submergence has you beat in the trance category, at least his track sounds original and isn't mixed to make your ears bleed after 2 minutes.

It could get high marks though. It has a very commercial sound and probably works really well on the dance floor.
That being said, his argument that everything in the 5 isn't top material, and his is, is quite biased obviously.

I'm not going to go into any analysis of your creative work, but you might just consider the fact that modesty is a pretty much positive attribute of a personality. I respect the fact that you consider your work to be really good, and I'm not saying that it isn't, but still, that is quite a large claim to make.
