I don't know if it's gonna hit Chicoutimi, Quebec. It's supposed to hit later on today, with around 25 - 35 Cm of snow. Can anyone verify this? I don't know where to go >.>
Right?

Kinda jealous of you guys.
I'm fortunate enough to live in Southern California, but I've literally never seen snow fall near where I've lived. Luckily we have mountains nearby, so it's not like I've never seen snow. Still... it would be nice to go outside in the snow rather than drive a few hours to see some.
Right now it's sunny and warm outside, just like every other day. :(

Well, since I saw all of Georgia is covered on that map, here's what Atlanta looks right now.
Shocking, I know.

Looks like there has been some pretty good snowfall in my area overnight. My camera is unfortunately 80 miles south of me in my NYC apartment though, and I don't think I could get a good enough pic on my webcam.

Toukeman reporting in from Southern Ohio. Wind Gusts of 30-40mph have been clocked. Some trees are down on the roads. Some small areas are without power.
At least it stopped raining. Still no snow.
Dammit.
Huh?

Still have wicked wind here, and it's been snowing on and off. Roads are a bit slick. It's snowing now. We're under a lake effect snow warning until Saturday.
Pennsylvania has had some freaky-ass weather today. Some of us got rain, some ice, some snow...and the folks down in Venango County had a tornado touch down.
Earlier today we had torrential rain and high wind at the same time. That was not fun to drive in.

You people of the East coast are lucky bastards The snow has not arrived yet in Washington. For some reason the temperature is 20 degrees and under all day and night with absolutely no moisture at all. So I am not anticipating there being snow here until January.

I live in the south and last week we got like an inch of snow and I was ecstatic. We usually never even see it, ever.
But yuck blizzards. Losing power blah
Send me some of your snow and we can even it out.

The blizzard here in Souther Connecticut was so anti-climatic, by the time I left for classes this afternoon, the snow had already melted away.

Awesome, a fellow Iowan. It hit here pretty bad, but I've heard it is worse in the capital and Sioux region.

My college is just far enough from it to miss all the snow, but close enough to get the rain and the 60 mph winds.
I can't help but feel cheated

According to the updated weather forecast for my neck of the woods, a lot will be riding on what the front decides to do. If it sits stationary over the Great Lakes, the lake effect snow machine will really kick in...and we'll get snow squalls and thunder at the same time. It's rare, but not unheard of.
We still have high winds and it's been snowing here for a while now. The main concern is blowing and drifting snow making travel difficult.

I heard about this. Where I am it's pretty icy at the moment (minus 14 outside) but we aren't having any frigid blasts that I know of.

I remember that happening twice in the last 4 years up there. Also, did the tornado hit anything important? I liked the Vanango Inn. :(

An hour south and there was a little bit of rain and now a little bit of flurries. The wind dried everything up before any ice could form. It's sunny and snowy kind of, but I'm not expecting too much to stick and its supposed to clear out of here in about an hour.
