he may not have given everyone enough time, but he did give everyone a clear date as to when it was due. And isn't the whole point to the contest to be able to dish something out with in the time limit anyway, no matter the cost. I think thats why they called it a DEATH match, cuz you might die in the process of making the song with in the time constraints.

Not really. 10 bucks an hour for standing the whole time and no breaks.
Today I started at 7:10 AM and didn't get to leave until 8:45 PM. Yay for 13 and a half hour shifts of standing and because it was packed I didn't get to eat :( Half a slice of pizza and a bottle of water.

By the way, just in case some of you are curious, next year we'll probably be doing the 2010 NGADM which will probably start sometime before summer, so there's no excuse to have no time. We have some really good ideas which will prevent people from making songs before the contest starts and stuff, and we'll have more judges. This is all if everyone thinks it's a good idea.

I hate to say this, but i think Blackhole is a bit biased in his reviews. I mean he was far more lenient towards the more electronic songs than to others. Though i wouldn't have said anything if he hadn't been kind of a dick to Pure-Metal-UTA. lol He got to the point where instead of reviewing and critiquing the song he was bashing them just for sucking:

I am really trying hard to keep this from sounding like complaining. It's just when someone tells you it's utter crap, it's nice to get some advice on how to fix it. And if you think I'm doing this just because i got a low score from him, then you're wrong. I'm afraid that the voting may end up becoming one sided against songs that aren't of some sort of electronic genre.

You are completely correct - I hate metal. I hate death metal, I don't think its music, I think its crap, and those songs are, in my mind, crap.
This is why we have 3 judges, not one.
As a judge, I am required to review all songs, and I even went and confirmed with supersteph54 before reviewing your songs because I knew that you guys were going to hate me for it. The fact that I obviously don't like metal nor have any experience with it will be taken into consideration when the final tally's are made. Honesty, however, is required during the judging process. You are free to tell me how much of a dick I am, its just not going to change anything :D

That's a bit of a narrow-minded judgment. A lot of electronic I've heard, is inspired by lots of genre's. Jazz, acoustic, pop, rap, metal. And a lot of the electronic music includes these genres, making sub genres like Acid house, Liquid, Industrial.
Also, you quite simply cannot judge genre's on musical technicality. Take Eric Clapton for example, he claims to have had no musical knowledge, it just sounded good to him.
If anything, electronic music is sort of a revolution in music.

Lol sorry, i was a bit snippy with my response. I had lumped together the majority without even partially mentioning the minority. Trust me i'm not going to go and say electronic music is the only type of music destroying our youth. (Imagination wise i mean). Nearly EVERYTHING that has hit the airwaves has been generic bullshit, with little bits of candy at the very core. But in order to get that candy you have to search through all of that shit, then clean off the excess matter before you find anything original now adays.
