audio approval

hey I hope im not coming across as impatient but,
in general how long does audio approval take, iv been reading it can take up to a few months, which is a bit confusing.
???

sorry for being impatient, its just confusing, alot of people were saying it took like 4 months or so.

Not months. Days maybe weeks.

Months occurs when there are 1000s, which has happened.

ok, thanks for the reply. cause when I submitted it said "approval is a quick process"
but then I looked at a thread and people were saying that they had waited for months, so I was just wondering :)

Approval is an entirely manual process done by a smallish number of unpaid volunteers, so the speed that stuff gets approved depends on how many hours each moderator can put in to get tracks through.

It can take anything from a few minutes to a few weeks depending on the backlog of tracks waiting to be approved, and whether or not a moderator as actively sitting there watching tracks as they come in! Unfortunately, there is no easy way to automate this problem without a lot of illegal stuff getting through.

If it's taking this long to approve your audio than it's more than likly you've been banned

Yeah, it's stacked up into the 1000s before. When that happens, sure.. feel free to say something. But right now, if it even takes two weeks... well.. try to submit again, because you've probably been banned at that point.

It can take a few months, but it's only once, to see that you're not an audio thief.

Also, if it's been half a year and your audio isn't aprooved, you're banned. Which means you broke the rules. Read the rules, for your own good.

You seem to be on a path of self destruction, why do you want to get banned so badly? If the topic wasn't good for a thread, why would it be good to bring it up anywhere else?
