Hello,

I've been coming to newgrounds and creating artwork for more than a couple of years, but it only recently dawned on me that I should, perhaps, combine the two.

I am an artist and have worked on several different flash projects (one of which is viewable at my online portfolio), but never completed anything I felt was worthy of uploading here.

I'm looking to get involved with some sort of game project. I have many of the requisite skills to create flash game (including actionscript programming knowledge), but I'm having a hard time figuring out just exactly what I want to do.

I think those who are making games would be more than happy to have you on thier side. You are an awesome artist. Unfortunately, If your going to be making a game, or looking to assist someone in making a good game, you might want to go over to here to Flash , but, we do have some collabs going on in the art forum that involve drawing a piece, if not, helping create the flash itself, however, post some more of that awesome artwork for us to see

I am liking what I see here, very nice. you should start posting a lot more of your stuff here in this thread. it gives those who are to lazy to check links a real solid taste of what you can do.

I've actually done a few small Flash Animations/Games, but nothing really polished or finished. Nevertheless, I am going to disregard some important advice and post some of them so ya'll can see what I can do.

GameTap @ Work - I did this as a pilot episode when GameTap was accepting submissions for new shows. It was made in about 2 weeks.

ShooterGame - Click on the doorway, then blast a never-ending supply of uniform monsters.

Platform Game - Use the left, right and up arrow keys to help the heroine navigate the steel yard.

There should be plenty of stuff to look at in my sketch blog and portfolio. As far as things I'm posting here, I'm trying to show some of the different ways my art can look.

This, for example, is a pen-sketch I did whilst playing D&D one evening. As the night went on I drew more and more things, but I tried to keep it together on the same page, enjoy!

I did this sketch over the weekend.

Perhaps it is just a typical portrait, but I'd like to point out that I attempted to use a topographical cross-hatching that would reveal both curvature and shading.

Yes I think that works. It could be a bit more obvious though... maybe in a bigger picture

I think it'd be cool to work on a game, but I haven't done so.

I'm grateful for a comment about the line weight. I really try to make each line individually interesting and work that in to the greater composition.

Nice work, very comicbook looking but still unique. Tthough I think I like the sketches the most, have a bit more personality to them, if that make any sense. I also notice your work improves bit by bit with each piece, which is awesome. More practice and you could do some very iconic work.
